Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's

Specialized treatment for skin diseases and conditions

A dermatologist is a doctor who specializes in diseases and conditions of the skin, hair and nails.

The dermatology team at Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s has access to the most advanced treatments available today, including ultraviolet light treatments for psoriasis and Mohs micrographic surgery to remove skin cancer. Photodynamic therapy is available for the treatment of precancerous skin changes and early skin cancer.

If your child’s skin condition is part of a bigger medical issue, our dermatology team will work with your child’s other doctors to create a comprehensive treatment plan for him or her.
