    ANCC Magnet Designation

    In 2010, Baylor Scott & White Health The Heart Hospital Plano achieved ANCC Magnet Designation®, a national designation for nursing excellence awarded to very few hospitals by the American Nursing Credentialing Center. We were re-designated again in 2016 and are on our journey for a third designation. Since 1993, ANCC has established the standards of practice that have proven to deliver positive outcomes for nurse work environments and patient care.
